Haridwar, the holy town, and a prominent tourist destination situated along the banks of holy river Ganga. The evening Ganga aarthi, after sunset is a ritual of light and sound, offering spiritual prayer to the sacred river Ganga at the Har Ki Pauri ghat and it is a sight to behold! No wonder Haridwar is referred as Gateway of the Gods!
