As part of the Republic Day Celebrations 2026, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens—especially students and young artists—to participate in a national-level Painting Competition on the theme “समृद्धि का मंत्र – आत्मनिर्भर भारत”

This contest aims to encourage participants to express, through art, India’s transformative journey towards self-reliance, innovation, and sustainable growth. Through their paintings, participants are encouraged to illustrate how India's collective strength, indigenous capabilities, and cultural values are shaping a prosperous and confident nation.

This is an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat and visually showcase the dreams, aspirations, and determination that define India’s path toward a brighter future.

Participation Guidelines-
Create and submit a painting/sketch/drawing based on the theme “समृद्धि का मंत्र – आत्मनिर्भर भारत”

Gratifications-
1. Top 3 Winners: ₹10,000/- each
2. 27 Consolation Prizes: ₹5,000/- each
3. Top 200 participants along with one companion (spouse/guardian/relative etc.) would be invited for witnessing the Republic Day Parade, 2026 at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.
