The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens to participate in One Innovation – Towards A Self-Reliant India as part of the outreach activities for the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025. The initiative aims to engage citizens, students, innovators, startups, and research communities across India to highlight innovative ideas and technologies that align with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).
Objective:
To invite citizens across India to showcase one impactful innovation that contributes to building a self-reliant (Aatmanirbhar) India and has the potential to improve the lives of at least 1,000 people.
The competition aims to highlight:
1. Innovations that strengthen India’s technological and social self-reliance
2. Scalable solutions with real-world impact
3. Citizen-driven ideas supporting the vision of a Viksit Bharat
4. India’s leadership in innovation, sustainability, and future-ready solutions
Participation Guidelines:
1. Participants must submit a brief description of their innovation (maximum 500 words).
2. Clearly explain how the innovation can improve the lives of 1,000+ people.
Gratification:
The Top 10 winning innovation may be selected to be featured across IISF 2025 campaigns (digital, print, and on-ground events) as part of the official IISF Innovation Showcase.
