The Goods and Services Tax (GST) marked a historic turning point in India’s economic journey when it was introduced in 2017, unifying the nation into a single market. Over the years, GST has simplified indirect taxation, enhanced transparency, and strengthened compliance.
Building on this foundation, the Government of India has now introduced the Next-Gen GST Reforms, designed to make the tax system even more seamless, efficient, and technology-driven. These reforms aim to empower businesses, reduce complexities, and improve the overall ease of doing business while ensuring greater benefits for consumers.
To promote broad-based awareness and enable citizens, especially youth, educators, design professionals, and engaged citizens to visualize, interpret, and communicate these transformative initiatives creatively, MyGov invites participants to take part in the Next-Gen GST Infographics Designing Contest.
