“The old order changeth, yielding place to the new!”

From the ramparts of the Red Fort history was being scripted. Brick by brick the old edifice was being replaced, adhering to the needs of time, catering to the aspirations of a young nation raring to go and take on its destined role as the leader of the world.

Among the many commitments made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day speech was to bring an end to the current Planning Commission and replace it with a new Institution that best serves the needs of India’s Governance in the 21st Century.

The new Institution he envisions will keep pace with the changing times, come up with New Ideas and keeping with the Federal Spirit will reflect the interests of the States, who the PM sees as equal partners in India’s development journey.

MyGov invites you to share an attractive Name, Logo and Tagline for this new Institution.

The last date of submissions is 25th August 2014.

Attractive prizes would be awarded to the winning entry. The PM will himself recognize the winning entry on social media forums.

The new name for Planning Commission India can be 'DISHA' - 'Developing India Sharing All'. I am not an artist but my vision is that the logo can have a growing banyan tree symbolizing India with slogan "Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinh"

जो नैशनल थिंक टैंक के बारे में चर्चा हो रही है, इसका कोई सदस्य विदेशी न हो न ही ऐसे सदस्य हों जिन्होंने विदेशों से शिक्षा प्राप्त की हो। विदेशियों को भारत से प्रेम नहीं है। वो भारत के प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का दोहन करना चाहते हैं और विदेशों से शिक्षा प्राप्त करने वाले लोग विदेशों के दृष्टिकोण से भारत को देखते हैं जो कि भारत के हित में नहीं है। वे लोग प्रजा के पालक नहीं शासक बनना चाहते हैं। इसलिए ऐसे लोगों को सदस्य नहीं बनाना चाहिए। हरि ओम्।

The nominated members are 1. Subject expert. 2. Volunteers 3. Women 4. Student 5. Government officials 6. Senior citizen The key to efficient utilization of human resources I wish all the Indians should participate one or the other way based on their skills and ability.

1. NAME: National Development Aspirant Committee. 2. The Prime Minister is the Chairman of the Committee 3. Nominated persons from each STATES and UT are members and also they are The Chairman of the committee for that state/UT, They should have members from each DISTRICT of that state/UT. These members are the Chairman of the committee for that particular District. 4. They should have members from each SUB- DIVISION of the DISTRICT of that state/UT. This chain should continue.

Name: India Development Initiative / भारत उद्विकास उपक्रम Tagline: Go together – grow together / सबका प्रयास – सबका विकास Logo: Clue for an appropriate artistic expression - a man & a woman jointly holding the Indian Chakra upright with one hand each spreading the other towards nature with a tree, an owl and an elephant in appropriate positions.
