Ludhiana needs to have Focus on curbing Pollution as it is an Industrial city. Policy should be made for management of Industrial waste, labour better life and basic amenities as they live in bad and unhealthy conditions, sufficient connectivity through Air,Rail and Road by providing better infrastructure. Industrial tourism and branding of the city industry is important. Egovernance, recreational facilities, walkable and cycle tracks, clean water body with managed parks.

We may idealise a city like singapore and learn from it, as a lot of issues n problems we face today were faced by them few decades back, how they managed to improvise public transport system and motivate it's residents to not to litter on streets. How they manage to control traffic in congested markets and make them only walking zones in the evening. I belive so make a smart city we need to have smarter citizens and people of ludhiana are ready for it.
