Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO), in collaboration with MyGov, had previously launched a logo competition for the J&K ODOP (One District One Product) initiative. The aim was to spotlight unique products from each district, providing them visibility in domestic and international markets to enhance exports. Regrettably, the initial logo entries did not meet the minimum qualification marks of 45 set by the committee. In response, JKTPO and MyGov are once again collaborating to conduct a brief 10-day campaign, encouraging fresh entries aligned with specified parameters and design criteria. This initiative seeks to rejuvenate the competition and discover a logo that resonates with the essence of J&K's diverse products.

Design Specifications:
a) The logo should include elements that symbolize Jammu and Kashmir's rich cultural heritage and diverse geographical landscape as well as a treasure trove of unique art and crafts together with distinctive agricultural and allied products.
b) The colours and typography used in the logo should be suitable for both digital and print media.
c) The logo should be easily recognizable and memorable.
d) The design should work well in both colour and black-and-white versions.

Parameters for Evaluation: 5 Marks for each parameter shall be given by the evaluation committee. The selected logo shall have to achieve a minimum 45 marks to qualify for merit.

a. Simplicity: A simple logo is typically more memorable and versatile. Complex designs can be difficult to reproduce and may not scale well.
b. Relevance: The logo should be directly related to the J&K One district one product. It should convey a clear message about the purpose.
c. Uniqueness: A logo should stand out and not be easily confused with other logos, especially those of competitors
d. Memorability: A good logo should be easy to remember. It should leave a lasting impression on viewers.
e. Scalability: The logo should look good in various sizes, from very small (e.g., on a pen) to very large (e.g., on a billboard).
f. Color: Evaluate the logo in both color and grayscale to ensure it remains effective in various contexts.
g. Balance and Proportion: Assess the logo's balance and proportion to ensure that no single element dominates or feels out of place.
h. Meaning: The logo should have a clear and compelling message or story that aligns with the brand's identity.
i. Adaptability: Consider how well the logo can be adapted for various marketing materials and platforms, including digital and print media.
j. Legal Considerations: Ensure that the logo doesn't infringe on any trademarks or copyrights and is legally sound.

Gratification:

a) The winner will receive a cash prize of INR 100,000/- along with a certificate of recognition.
b) Runner-up will receive a cash prize of INR 50,000/- along with a certificate of recognition.
c) 2nd Runner-up will receive a cash prize of INR 25,000/- along with a certificate of recognition.
