The National Cooperative Development Corporation, in collaboration with MyGov, is pleased to announce an Essay Competition to encourage citizens to share their views and ideas on the theme: Topic of the Essay in English: “Increasing significance of cooperatives in changing times”

हिंदी में निबंध का विषय: "बदलते समय में सहकारी संस्थाओं का बढ़ता महत्व"

Objectives

1. To create awareness about the role of cooperatives in sustainable development.
2. To encourage citizens to share innovative ideas for strengthening the cooperative movement.
3. To promote youth and general citizen participation in policy discussions on cooperatives.

Competition Details

1. Theme: International Year of Cooperatives 2025
2. Topic of the Essay in English: “Increasing significance of cooperatives in changing times”
हिंदी में निबंध का विषय: बदलते समय में सहकारी संस्थाओं का बढ़ता महत्व"

Eligibility:

1. Open to all Indian citizens.
2. Languages Allowed: Hindi or English only (participants own choice)
3. Word Limit: Maximum 1500 words (grace of 50 words allowed)
4. Submission Mode: Online through the MyGov platform
5. Last Date of Submission: 25th October 2025
6. Prizes will be awarded in two categories: Winner Prizes and Consolation Prizes.

Gratification

Winner Prizes

1.1st Prize: ₹15,000
2.2nd Prize: ₹10,000
3.3rd Prize: ₹5,000

Consolation Prizes

1. 1st Consolation Prize: ₹2,000
2. 2nd Consolation Prize: ₹2,000
3. 3rd Consolation Prize: ₹2,000

Certificates of Appreciation will be given to the next top 10 shortlisted participants.
