1. Promote cold storage co-operative networks so that farmers can make better bargain before selling produce. 2. Govt. should take out export tenders where farmer groups may be allowed to bid for providing produce of required quality to cater to global sector demand which the govt. can then export. 3. Farm produce processing industries may be allowed to directly engage farmers to obtain raw material of desired quality.this will reduce middle man expense and make Indian products viable globally

The issue is pressing because today the biggest asset India has is its huge workforce. A workforce needs food. An attack on India's agriculture can increase trade deficit which will lead to an economic collapse and other problems of unemployment, diseases, crime etc. will follow. This has the potential of making India vulnerable to external aggression once again. The attached document discusses the role IT can play in improving agriculture in India

Promote farmers to do co-operative farming as in developed nations. our farmers have small pieces of land which is not sufficient to adopt automation in land preparations, spraying, harvesting as well as purchasing farm inputs. i had seen small and big farmers are two types, one is relay on subsidies from Govt. and second is performing even not getting a penny from Govt. Promote the second type and punish the first kind. Remove subsidies by replacing term loan for new hightech farming adoptation
