The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), established in 1950 and operating under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, is India’s premier institution dedicated to cultural diplomacy. For 75 years, ICCR has played a defining role in showcasing India’s millennia-old cultural heritage, artistic excellence, languages, and creative traditions to the world. With its network of 11 ZOs/SZOs/RPOs, 38 Indian Cultural Centres (ICCs), and extensive partnerships with global universities, artists, and cultural organisations, ICCR continues to foster international cultural understanding and strengthen India’s bonds with communities worldwide.
As ICCR expands its global presence and shares India’s cultural soft power with diverse audiences, it seeks a tagline that reflects its mission and civilizational ethos. This competition gives citizens and creative minds across the world an opportunity to contribute a memorable and impactful phrase that captures ICCR’s vision of cultural harmony, global friendship, and dialogue through art and heritage.
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), in collaboration with MyGov, invites participants to propose a short, original, and resonant 3–4 word tagline that represents ICCR’s journey in global cultural exchange and its commitment to promoting India’s cultural richness internationally.
Gratification
• Winner: ₹50,000/-
• Certificate of Appreciation from ICCR
The winning tagline will be officially adopted across ICCR’s communication platforms, publications, cultural programmes, and international events. This is a unique chance for participants to leave a lasting imprint on India’s cultural diplomacy by contributing a phrase that will echo across borders and represent India’s creative spirit on the world stage.
Prize distribution will be facilitated by ICCR. Click here for Terms and Conditions.
