Land of Gandhi, pride in simplicity,
Gujarat shines bright like the sun’s clarity.

A land of dreams where progress grows.
Rich in culture, steadfast in might,
In everyone’s heart, Gujarat’s love shines bright.
From Panchmahal to Kutch’s shore,
Our land of dreams, Gujarat forevermore.
Gujarat, established on May 1, 1960, will proudly complete 75 years in 2035. This inspiring journey has been marked by progress, cultural richness, and innovation. The state is not only known for its vibrant festivals and industrial growth but also holds many unique distinctions. Did you know Gujarat is home to Anand, the "Milk Capital of India," where the Amul cooperative began the White Revolution. The state is “Home to Asia’s Longest Ropeway at Girnar”. Gujarat’s ancient city of Lothal is believed to be the world’s earliest known dock, and Ahmedabad- the India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City”. From the surreal salt desert of the Rann of Kutch to the intricate stepwells like Rani ki Vav, Gujarat’s diverse landscapes and rich heritage are truly remarkable. The state is also a Paradise for Birdwatchers and is known for its “Strong Vegetarian Culture”, even hosting the “World’s First All-Vegetarian Pizza Hut!” These fascinating facts reflect the spirit and legacy of Gujarat, making this 75-year celebration a moment of pride for every citizen.
