Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) aims at supporting sustainable production in agriculture sector by way of
a) Supporting farmers suffering from crop losses/damages due to unforeseen circumstances
b) stabilizing the income of farmers to ensure their continuance in farming
c) encouraging farmers to adopt innovative and modern agricultural practices
d) By ensuring credit flow to the agricultural sector, we will enhance food security, crop diversity, growth and competitiveness of the sector as well as protect farmers from production risks.

With the aim of promoting Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and engaging citizens across the country in the ongoing 'Out of Home' campaign (OOH) / Outdoor campaign of the PMFBY, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has organized Fasal Bima Abhiyan Mein Mera Yogdaan - Selfie Competition.

Citizens are invited to post geo-tagged/non-geo-tagged selfies using the PMFBY banner, hoarding, and other display advertisements, at public locations like CSC centers, krishi kendras, agriculture offices, banks, panchayat offices, petrol pumps, and highways in their village/block/district/state and upload them in the description box below.

NOTE: - Participants are required to mention their state.

Rewards
Best 2 selfies will be awarded Rs.11000/- and Rs.7000/- respectively from each state and union territory.

Last Date of submission is 10th November 2022.
