All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.

Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.

Topic

The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic

• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities

Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

The Top 3 Essays will be awarded as:

1. For Students

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

2. For Others

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

1. Submit online at https://mygov.in
2. On Postal - Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tirupati. Please mention on top of the cover as “SMART TIRUPATI – ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION”.

Terms and Conditions

1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.

2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.

3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.

The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

V.Jaswanth,Viswakarmablock,S.V.U College of engineering,Tirupati-517502 .By bringing in more IT companies,we not only improve the employment facility but also we can bring it up technically.As the main future is in the hands of younger generation and to improve digital India,the Tirupati city should provide WiFi hotspots all across tirupati so that we can access the information accurately and fastly.

V.Jaswanth,Viswakarmablock,S.V.U College of engineering,Tirupati-517502 .By increasing the staff of municipal corporation we can improve drainage facility.The road system should also be developed like bringing in two lane roads or more.An spare lane for emergency vehicles should also be bought in.The network of railways should also be increased by connecting to different parts of the world.We should also tirupati in software field.

In order to have 24 hours water supply, the following measures to be taken. 1.To remove the un-authorized motors connected to the water taps by certain unscropless dwellers. 2. To fix up meters to the house hold taps for measuring the water consumption. 3. The under ground drainage system is not up to the mark as on today. Therefore regular mechanized cleaning is required instead of manual cleaning with proper monitoring. 3. Foot paths encroachments should be evicted for easy passa.
