ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಇತರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಗರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯು ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲವೆನ್ನುವುದು ವಾಸ್ತವ. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡ ಬಿ.ಎಚ್. ರಸ್ತೆಯ ನವೀಕರಣ, ಗಾಂಧಿ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ, ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಮುಂತಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತಾದರೂ, ನಗರದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ, ಸಾರಿಗೆ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಆಗಿರುವ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ತೀರ ಸಾಲದು ಎನ್ನುವಂತಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿರುವ ಯೋಜನೆಯಂತೆ, ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಸಿಟಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಲಭಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ, ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕಾದುದು ಅತ್ಯವಶ್ಯ.

40 year back. Latriune was cleaning by pour karmika employee was cleaning morning by 4 to 5am. Now on words pour karmika employee has to work 9am to 5pm. If they worked in this time. Shimoga has a smart city it will improve and no.1 city it will come for cleaning. Now shimoga cleaning city no.123.tunga water r wasting when haeavy rain his coming water is wasting. If u build the small dams hosahalli. And pump house. If u done water will not get waste. And full shimoga will not be a water problem.
