Plastic bags also pose a serious danger to birds and marine mammals that often mistake them for food. Thousands die each year after swallowing or choking on discarded plastic bags. Finally, producing plastic bags requires millions of gallons of petroleum that could be used for transportation or heating.

The solutions lie in - a) increasing the awareness of the visitors about sensitive environmental factors; b) creating a halt and check system downhill and downstream with heavy financial penalization for violation and letting organizations like the Territorial Army and Red Cross etc maintain the system. report enclosed herewith....based on personal visit.

Main problem that arise there is soil erosion. Sediments are taken away. In order to avoid this soil erosion we have plant more trees there and also we have make some concrete like boundary like near sabrmati in Gujrat also to avoid removal of sediments. We have stop deforestation further. Also we have to stop reconstruction of houses near river banks and specially stop the waste coming from factory ( In kanpur from leather factory).

If you convert exuviated head race tunnel of cancelled Lohari Nagpala hydro electric project of NTPC to motor road, then you can reduce 30 km distance for pilgrimage & army on hill & sliding zone of Gangotri Temple & China border army post in Uttarakhand.
