WOHD 2016 aims to get everyone to recognise the impact their oral health has on overall physical health and wellbeing to help inspire this change, the overall campaign theme is: Healthy mouth. Healthy body.

My slogan is “A gargle a day keeps the doctor away”. Gargle saltwater. A saltwater gargle of 1 teaspoon (5 grams) of table salt to 8 ounces (237 milliliters) of warm water can help soothe a sore throat. Gargle the solution and then spit it out as advised by Mayo Clinic in Lifestyle and home remedies. A randomized trial in 2005 concluded that this virtually cost free modality was effective.
