The goal of Swachh Bharat is to provide access for every person to:-
Sanitation facilities including Toilets, Solid and Liquid Waste Disposal Systems, and clean surroundings.

We have to achieve this by 2019 as a befitting tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary.

Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA), the Goal is now to make India Open Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2019 by construction of individual, cluster & community toilets; and villages will be kept clean, including through solid and liquid waste management through Gram Panchayats. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Govt. of India seeks entries for design a Logo for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The last date of submission is 19th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.

This is a logo concept I did for 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'. The White color in our flag indicates "cleanliness" and hence cleaning the dirt and brightening the color.

I have designed a logo for Swachh Bharat in a shape of indian style toilet. When all the Indians have access to the toilets, India will be free of disease & will have clean & beautiful environment. So I tried to show that in my logo composition.

Concept: Two hands securing the water drop which represents water. Also the drop forms the CoMod. When you look at the CoMod form the top angle you can get the same picture as the drop you can see in the logo, with the circle in grey representing the hole in the comod. So it clearly captures the idea of Swachh Bhart Abhiyan!

Here is my work for the nation. As I have used Peacock in the logo because of its rich religious and legendary involvement in Indian traditions. The criteria for this choice were many. The bird must be well-distributed within the country so it could truly 'national'. It must be recognisable to the common man. lets come together and make the dream come true... Thanks Vishnu Prasad
