The goal of Swachh Bharat is to provide access for every person to:-
Sanitation facilities including Toilets, Solid and Liquid Waste Disposal Systems, and clean surroundings.

We have to achieve this by 2019 as a befitting tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary.

Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA), the Goal is now to make India Open Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2019 by construction of individual, cluster & community toilets; and villages will be kept clean, including through solid and liquid waste management through Gram Panchayats. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Govt. of India seeks entries for design a Logo for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.  The last date of submission is 19th September, 2014.  The winning entry will be awarded a  cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.

Our India has different states and cultures and so many festivals to celebrate. Each festival indicate one colour. Colour is important in our life. So logo is more colourful for better visibility and readability. Hand express it is my duty to clean india through green india. Because green is nature colour. Swachh - Blue Colour is sky Colur for cleanlines, Bharat - Our flag colours, Abhiyan - Neon Red for more important on duty. Hindi or Devanagari, is our national language so we used that,

My submission for Swachh Bharat Logo. The Logo shows all the goals of the initiative. A home with toilet, a waste disposal bin, greener environment and Clean water droplets . The ground is painted with tricolor to signify the soil of India, or our Motherland which we need to make cleaner and greener by Swachh Bharat Initiative.

This logo is actually inspired by a Recycle symbol we use for all the recycling process. The three colors I used in this logo is from our national flag. I also combined this logo with slogan - Swaccha Bharat Abhiyaan...Kare Naya Bharat Nirmaan. In the center of the logo I used the water drop symbol for purity and cleanliness. So we can use the reusable element and can save the water also.
