The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

WELCOME TO ERA OF DIGITAL INDIA. My Logo design concept is that every Indian should be empowered with Internet through Mobile phone because almost every Indian has mobile phones but not laptops and PCs. The logo also depicts the woman empowerment, digital medical care, e- choupals and smart classes. Through internet, services on demand and e-governance schemes can successfully be implemented. So, we need to focus on 1. Infrastructure 2. E- Governance & 3. Empowerment of Citizens.
