The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

My logo is name of my country in digital form i.e "INDIA". They are letters of English alphabet. And punch line is "dig in" i.e digital India. That is how much ever you dig, talent never gets finished.

Logo for Digital India, The Green arrow-it means digital mouse pointer and it target an Orange spot.The Mouse pointer denotes rural(home) and Orange spot denotes sunrises.The Green and Orange is not only Flag colours. The Green indicates Growth and Orange indicates make good begins. So our target is digitally connecting with rural and urban areas.

All 7 circles represent different Countries/Ministries/Departments/States/District/Block/Panchayat Offices. The main circle represents NDC which is directly connected to the other 7 circles. The circle rising SUN link to India Tomorrow (IT) Rising India. The main Circle and I both combined makes the‘d’ for Digital. Digital and India both get connected with the ‘Ashok Chakra’ means progressive India. The India text is written in green means this project will make India paperless ‘Green India’.
