The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

1st Letter "D" has 2 waves which represents Mass Participation and Independence(char.of wave).
They r colored Safron & Green which rep. Indian Flag.It also contains wire loops,which rep.
Digital World.
d Other letters r made from SiliconChips which rep. the Start of Digital Era.
On other end d Finger Print like logo rep. d Indian Public & hand over it rep. Access
