The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Here is the discription of my logo: e for internet,governance & services, wifi symbol for Indian flag with Ashoka chakra, Yellow ciecle for CD,DTH dish, citizen empowerment in red, blue mouse for digital infrastructure & its utility to all, 2 green leaves for bluetooth & eco-friendly digitalisation as it reduces paper work .overall it represents growth of digitalisation & digitally empowered society. thus it covers many ideas which is woven into single logo representing "Digital India".

“e” for e-services. Umbrella curve at the top “e” indicate digitalization of all departments as a utility to every citizen. Keypad keys indicate various services. Cursor indicates services on demand. A fabricated merged gender equality logo,same also indicates ‘IT’. Every citizen empowered digitally by holding e-gadgets. Combing ‘e’ & digitally empowered India map called “e-ndia”.’DIGITAL’ designed like an antenna. Mouse indicate 29 states & 7 UT.
