World Hindi Conferences (WHC) are being organized since 1975 in different parts of the world. The last World Hindi Conference was organized in South Africa in 2012. This year, the 10th World Hindi Conference is scheduled to be organized in New Delhi.

The main objectives for the organization of World Hindi Conference are to promote and propagate Hindi in foreign countries as a world language, establish the relevance of Hindi language in the Globalised world and encourage research work and original writings in Hindi by the foreigners and people of Indian origin etc.  

Citizens are invited to design/suggest a suitable logo for 10th World Hindi Conference that would reflect the spirit and objectives of World Hindi Conference.

Ministry of External Affairs seeks entries for design a Logo for “10th World Hindi Conference 2015”.

The last date of submission is 20th March, 2015.

The selected entry will be awarded a prize of Rs. 50,000/-.

10th WHC is represented using the hindi numeral ten and its spread is represented using the globe within the hindi alphabet.

logo for "10th WHC". THE WORD HINDI IS WROTE IN A DEVANAGRI STYLE TO SHOWCASE THE HINDI TOUCH. THE OVERALL DESIGN DEPICTS THE PEACOCK CLIPART HAVING 10TH WROTE IN IT. AND IN DOWNSIDE THE VENUE OF THE CONFERENCE AND YEAR IS WROTE FOR INFORMATION OF THE EVENT.

First World Hindi Conference was inaugurated on 10 January 1975 by then Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. The first conference held from 10 to 12 January 1975 in Nagpur. Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, then Prime Minister of Mauritius attended conference as the Chief guest. 122 delegates from 30 countries participated in the conference.[2]Ninth World Hindi Conference held from September 22 to September 24, 2012 in Johannesburg, South Africa. punchline:World need Hindi. left upper corner has the function name in English while Hindi in right upper side.Below,2015 is written in Yellow colour which represent the year of the function as Yellow is creative from a mental aspect, the color of new ideas, helping us to find new ways of doing things.It is followed by World symbol.besides it,Hindi is written in Hindi.Conference in brown colour is written at the bottom.star represent it an important function.organizing ministry name is below.
