Firstly we have to analyse which are the most polluted stretches of river ganga when we find the most pklluted stretches then we have to make small treatment plants near these polluted stretches. Govt should also try to make balance between nature and development in kanpur and in varanasi the ganga is most polluted state govt. Is not taking any solid steps so my request is that there should be a proper coordination between all the stake holdrs so that all can take effctive steps

The summary of plan is as below: 1) Drainage tunnel should take all sewage out side densely populated area. Treated water shall be discharged in ganga to maintain flow of river 2) Construction of tunnel shall be with tunnel boring machines by experts from Delhi Metro for cleaner and timely completion 2) Gas aided cremation to ensure faster and complete burning and less residual ash with minimum use of wood (to maintain tradition) 3) Maintain Ash Pond as is done with fly ash of power plants

Environmental flows are essentially the water requirements of aquatic ecosystems and of basic human, social and spiritual needs. However, the concept of environmental flow only refers to the the quantity of water required to maintain river ecology under different environmental conditions. Untreated sewage and industrial waste are dumped into the waters without remorse. Reduced flow and rampant underground water withdrawals affect millions of people who depend on the river’s water.

Stakeholders: 1. Announce tax benefits for the industrialist who would not dump waste into Ganga. 2. Fisherman should be encouraged to fish, so that quality of water affects the people indirectly. 3. Throwing 'Nirmalaya' into river is our culture. So, beside Ganga there should be small plastic collectors filled with Ganga water in which people will put the waste. And the water will go to the treatment plant after 1 hour maybe then the container is refilled with small amount of water again.

It is very essential to get involving of all stakehoders on this project. As govt have some limitations, that can be only overcome by all other parties. Let it be from planning, implementation and monitoring. The local bodies may be given some sorts of control and responsibilities with a hope of certain incentives like tourism income etc. The sadhus may be taken in confidence. The local people must be encourage and given some responsibilities of monitoring. Mallahs,fish catcher to be motivated.

To start with cleaning Maa Ganga, I will suggest to introduce Quality circle Concept at Village level. First Form a GQC (Ganga quality circle).At each village there should be 6 member in each GQC with maximum 10 GQC in each village. These GQC should be funded through NREGA or any scheme. The member will have a weekely meeting and will brainstorm for the cleaning procedure for Maa ganga and will implement their project. For that fund should be made available to them by Sarpanch or Mukhiya .

First of all the strict RULES must be made for the industries who are dumping there toxic and poisonous water to rivers not only Ganga also all the supporting rivers, Saints may practice to not allow the persons to dump the waste material in Ganga , Main ghats should under CCTV supervision , individuals must take oath to not pollute Ganga and also to not let the others to pollute ganga, all the responsible person at village District labels should also be Sure that Non are throwing waste .... ..
