Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India has approved a nationwide initiative namely ‘National Digital Literacy Mission’ (NDLM) to provide ICT training to 10 Lakh (Ten Lakh) persons One in every eligible household in selected Blocks in each State/UT. This would enable the beneficiaries to use ICT and related applications and participate effectively in the democratic process, nation building and enhance their livelihood.
This scheme seeks creative mind to design a Logo, Slogan and Banner for NDLM initiative. The Last date of entries is 15th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The slogan for National Digital Literacy Mission : Umra se pare, sarhadon ke paar, gyan ki nayi pehchaan : Digital Abhiyaan. The logo symbolises the virtual world & computer training being given to people. The banner covers the logo & slogan with unlimited scope for digital exploration. In todays world being literate is not enough, every one has to be digital literate......
