Teachers should have full knowledge about the subject (which they lack). In some polytechnic &engineering colleges some teachers are teaching without proper knowledge.

The basic report from any ITI or polytechnic institute ( Specially Govt. Funded) is that either they do not have resources or even if some institute have resources than they are not utilising it properly. And as far as the private small scale ITI institute are concerned, they are just providing certificate to the institute without any practical exposure or even without machinery. For more see attachment.

These days it is 'multi-skills', i.e., same person having skills of more than one trade. SAIL has been adopting in its recruitments, Viz., fitter cum operator/ attender; electrician cum mechanic; electronic techn. cum plumber; electrician cum plumber etc. Few years ago technicians refused to lift anything above 2 kgs incl. aluminum ladder;with jobs becoming rare, they are now lift such wts., thus negating need of helpers. We promote employ-ability by increase of overall technical-skill qotient

HON PM Ji Namaskar HON SC granted the GP wrt the Hierarchy of Departmental Promotions to eligible Govt Servants under MACP. But DOPT has Granted the benefits to the Persons entered in the Court. DGET under MoLE imparting Skill Trg in India & Training Officers of DGET perform the key role in this but they are facing injustice to get this GP. Since PM is always focussing on Skill Devpt so it is urged to grant MACP benefits to boost our morale, reduce money & time wastage & number of court cases.

Hello all We are all receiving many feedback on polytechnics and ITI colleges. if we get in to real scenario there is very less relativity between the practical education given in college and to the industry scenario. if a comity from govt guides us we are ready to conduct a reality check study on this(A study on LAB practicals at polytechnics and ITI colleges) later we can compare this with industry requirements
