Corporates should jointly tie up with colleges and institues, design diploma and certification courses and ensure placements for the graduates that complete these courses. The no. Of seats for these courses and the locations should be in line with industry requirements so that the graduates can be employed and absorbed. School education should also be modified to prepare students for the job market through basic Microsoft Office skills, presentation skills, data analysis, etc.

1) Identify a PPP policy to start skilling centres 2) Evaluation system followed by skill centres by students themselves 3) Skill centres to be funded by recruitment costs paid by corporates to the centres 4) Corporates to be made partners in this process. Some corporates may join and start a skill centre themselves. 5) Partner with career and educational centres 6) Large corporates should also be encouraged to fund R & D for development of knowledge capital and great universities like USA
