waste collection plan for homes: in dubai, black green cans distributed to every home. all degradble waste in one bin, green, food, vegetable waste in 1 bin. where used directly into biogas, manure for crops, after using this crops grow like anything.. now we import fertilzer, losing forex, instead of that, adapt this efficient way. other bin, after collection like plastic,glass,metal.. they are sorted manually, providing employment, then recycled. No chance of throwing waste, full utilisation

I found this idea of having a cleanliness index interesting. It would help to identify which places are clean and by what amount. Then you can target specific areas which need to be shown more amount of care. This is one PDF attached which shows how they calculate the index on Miami beaches. The cleanliness index and assessments will assist in achieving the following: • The index will provide a quantitative measurement to gauge the cleanliness of the City as it relates to the vision state

Government should start a scheme of allowing total income tax rebate ( like donations for political fund) ,on donations for creating a national toilet fund. The fund be distributed propotionately to construct and maintain toilets so as to stop excreting in open areas. The pilot project can be started in slum areas along railway line in Delhi/NCR. The citizens donating more than rs 50000 maybe given incentives in railway/ air booking. After the pilot project the same can be extended across india

Ms P. Joshi has made a very good point about biogas, infact if each colony had its own micro plant which could then be fed to the homes it would elivate a lot of the stress off the energy sector and create more jobs for people for managing those micro plants. Using Bio-Catalysts one can increase the yields of methane for energy and then the residue sludge can be used as fertilizer.
