Dear Prime Minister, Mentally Disabled Adults are often left to fend for themselves in our society. While there are schools and institutions to cater to the need of mentally disabled children till the age of 16, there is hardly any organisation to teach them and train them constantly so that they can adapt themselves to the changing ambience of home and society. In this regard Mr. V. Dhiwakar (ex-Director, Infineon) and Mrs. Radhika Dhiwakar are running an organisation called PADA (Parents Association for Differently-abled Adults) in Bengaluru. http://pada.life/index.php They run a school, training centre and conduct awareness campaigns and other activities for the Differently-abled Adults. They are now creating standardised learning modules for the target group with the help of researchers and experts in the field. Their dedication requires your appreciation. Please highlight the plight of Differently-abled Adults through Mann Ki Baat and motivate people to open more such centres.
