Loans for Self Help Groups to build Marrige Halls , Cold Storage Units in Rural Areas : RBI & NABARD can jointly devise a new subsidy scheme to help SHGs JLGs to build Marriage Halls & Cold Storage Units . The proposed units will help people in rural areas to store their farm produce at nominal rates . Marriage Halls will help people from the villages to perform marriages of their children grandly at affordable prices. The land can be procured by the Government or collectively by SHGs - JLGs. Recently a cinema theatre in Asifabad Dist of Telangana was built under Public - Private Partnership which is being managed by SHGs. States & UTs can take cue from this novel initiative and found a meaningful prototype of building Marrige Halls & Cold Storage Units under Public - Private Partnership to help large section of our rural communities.
