If technology can identify deletion of invoices, suppression of sales, and underreporting across lakhs of businesses, then the same digital systems should be used to improve governance and accountability. I urge Government of India and state governments, especially Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu, to take the next step: • Implement transparent ERP-based tracking for all government projects to monitor delays in real time • Digitally track delivery timelines of every public service to improve accountability • Remove the role of hard cash in the economy to curb corruption and tax evasion • Use data-driven governance to ensure public money is used efficiently Technology should not only track taxpayers but also strengthen trust by making governance more transparent and efficient.
