Respected Sir, I am pleased to share with you a concept paper to reduce the air pollution in Delhi NCR from severe or poor level to moderate or satisfactory level. Here is the gist of the strategy. 1. The air pollution in Delhi NCR is a yearlong issue. It varies from poor to severe levels. The main contributor of air pollution is particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) along with a few gases.2. The source of around 60% of air pollution is vehicles and road dust. Both of them are related to roads. The vehicles contribute to pollution as these vehicles remain on roads more than they require.3. Due to congestions vehicles spend 50% to 400% more time on roads which increase pollution proportionately. If we are able to reduce the time spent by vehicles on road we can reduce pollution significantly.4. Similarly if we reduce the exposed soil beside the roads and on roads we will reduce the air pollution. 5. Thus if we improve our Roads we will be able to reduce the air pollution
