Local MPs and MLAs should open an on line grievance cell for receiving public grievance and complaints for his or her local areas. This should be made compulsory.

Submission of life continuity certificate (LCC) to various pension/annuity paying agencies is fast becoming a nightmare for the elderly. A miss costs them dearly of their only livelihood! The plight is indescribable for those who are home alone - no help! Could there be a single nodal agency responsible for collecting LCC? All other pension/annuity paying agencies could then verify the LCC from the nodal agency records for any specific Aadhaar/PAN number? Could the nodal agency use live video recording/any other digital means to check/verify/update their records? If some one is too helpless even for such digital verification measures, could the nodal agency send their person to the elderly’s home to do a physical verification? The Police does it all the time for passport verification!
