#PMOnRadio Monsoon has arrived in India and hopefully will fulfill our expectations. A directive can be issued to all governments / entities /schools etc. to conserve rain water through all available means. Rain water harvesting is the best method for this purpose. #MannKiBaat

#PMOnRadio Sir, Schools are about to open in few days. Please advise in #MannKiBaat to all parents to donate old books/copy stationary etc. of their children to poor children and issue a directive to schools to accept/ use those books and not to compel selling their stuff.

2. These poor people don't have the 'jaati praman patra' or the 'voter ID card', which play an important role in the vote bank politics in India, A reason why no one cares for them, no policies for their rehabilitation and even no guarantee for single meal a day, in the country which has implemented Right to Food. 3. Government of India must bring some policies and programs for these people. If someone talks of NGOs, I think they have failed in their basic objective of 'Humanity'.Please help.

Dear Modiji, Wanted to draw your attention towards the recruitment of Directors of new IIMs. There is a crisis of leadership at several new IIMs with no Directors for a long time. Please note that these are supposed to be institutes of national importance and deserve to have visionary Directors. Regards, Dr. Jagrook Dawra, Associate Professor, IIM

Travelled By train recently. There were no dustbins under the washbasins though there was a fully operating pantry car in the train which was filled with used waterbottles and aluminium foil . I was forced to throw the soiled food packets by the co passengers on the tracks with no choice. My suggestion: JUst like in the airlines , railway staff should carry large plastic bags and encourage people to drop their garbage in them thereby avoiding littering in the railway coaches.

Sir, would like to congratulate you on having a grand #YogaDay celebration this year as well. But in Last years speech you had specifically said that Yoga has been turned into a business and how commercial it has become. Since you too are aware about what real "Yog" is and that it can be done only with a real Guru, can something be done to stop the mistepresentation of this pure & powerful subject given to us by Rishis. Its high time we conserve our culture & Vedic Sciences! #MannKiBaat #AIR

Dear PM, every time I visit India from the UK I get saddened by the way animals are treated and the conditions they have to put up with. It is our dharma to protect the weak and the needy so why do we not have stricter laws for animal protection. Monkeys have been declared as vermin in Himachal Pradesh and it is us who is responsible for destroying their natural habitat. Please do more for animals.
