In my view since the money is already with the farmers and they are not able to pay, it is as good as waived off. To prevent the banks from issuing notices and leading to farmer suicides, your government instead of waiving off can give a long period of tenure say 5 more years for the farmers to repay. There are hardly any healthy, ready to eat food items that take into consideration diabetes, blood pressure,easy to chew and digest for toothless seniors.
