Dear Sir, We are constructing Class 70 R or may class 40 R roads and Bridges in congested city areas and in Metros. The bulk of the traffic is cars and lighter bulk carriers vehicle weighing 5 Tonnes. It shall be very economical and faster to construct if we design our roads and Bridges for Class 9/12 R loading in city areas and save a fortune of Money for other projects. The heavy trucks and 20 Tonners can ply on surface. If permitted I can make presentation on the proposal.

I have seen in some places that in 4 lane highway, bypass roads are only 2 lanes. Example: Hubli-Dharwad along golden quadrilateral, some cities along Bengaluru Hassan highway. These places can become zones of accidents. Why is four laning in such places incomplete and what are steps being taken to address this?

Sir, There is too much pollution in the air. When you are going to make it compulsory to blend 10 % ethanol in petrol and diesel from current ratio of 5 % ? Railways have already announced 20 % blending of bio fuel in high speed diesel for locomotives. It will reduce our crude import bill.
