On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Placing the main switch box on a covered balcony or exterior wall offers several clear safety advantages: • Clear Escape Path: If a fire breaks out at the switchboard, the main front door remains completely open and safe for family members to run out. • Smoke Vents Outside: Electrical fires generate thick, toxic plastic smoke. On a balcony, that smoke disperses into the open air instead of filling up the living room and bedrooms within seconds. • Easier Firefighter Access: Firefighters or neighbors can reach the main shutoff switch from the balcony or corridor without having to enter a burning, smoke-filled apartment.

My suggestion for new traffic rules that can save lives. Walking on the Right Side (Facing Traffic): Gives the pedestrian a direct line of sight to oncoming vehicles. If a car drifts or swerves unexpectedly, you see it coming and can step off the road instantly. • Eye Contact Matters: Seeing the driver's face creates immediate mutual awareness between the driver and the pedestrian. • The Danger of the Left Side: When walking on the left with your back turned to traffic, you have zero warning if a vehicle approaches too close from behind.

Namaskara Sir.We respectfully request the concerned authorities to resolve all pending issues preventing eligible retired KSRTC employees from receiving the higher EPFO pension as directed by the Supreme Court. These employees devoted decades of service, and if they meet the eligibility conditions under the Employees' Pension Scheme and the Supreme Court judgments, they should receive the pension benefits they are legally entitled to. We urge the Government, KSRTC, EPFO, and all concerned authorities to coordinate and ensure that eligible pensioners receive their rightful higher EPFO pension without delay. Thank you soo much.

Namaste sir, I would like to respectfully suggest that the Government consider introducing merit-based scholarship schemes and competitive scholarship examinations to support economically disadvantaged students from upper-caste families who may not currently have adequate financial assistance. While many such families place a strong emphasis on education, financial hardship often prevents deserving students from accessing quality schools, colleges, coaching, and other academic opportunities. Any support should be based on transparent economic and academic criteria so that assistance reaches those who genuinely need it. Providing financial aid to meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds would enable talented young people to pursue higher education, develop their potential, and contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress. Thank you

Namaste sir, As India celebrates another year of independence, I respectfully submit a suggestion on behalf of countless families who depend on the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS). For many pensioners, the current pension amount is insufficient to meet even the most basic cost of living in today's economic conditions. I humbly request the Government to consider increasing the minimum monthly EPS pension to at least ₹15,000. Such a revision would help senior citizens live with greater financial security, dignity, and independence after dedicating years of service to the nation's growth. Strengthening the social security of retired workers would reflect our commitment to inclusive development and ensure that the benefits of progress reach those who have contributed significantly to building our country. Thankyou

Let's Change. Let's Progress. You have risen stronger after every fall in life - Why let alcohol cloud your mind? You have the gift of a smiling heart - Why embrace the habit of smoking? You possess countless noble qualities - Why choose addictions like pan masala and tobacco? The world is filled with thousands of opportunities to learn and grow - Why crave habits that only destroy you? Leave addiction behind. Choose a new path. Create achievements. Prove your potential. When you are healthy, your family prospers. When families prosper, the nation flourishes. K. R. Nalluswamy Karur-639008, Tamil Nadu, India 9843031010
