On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

I therefore humbly request you to take the following actions: 1. Strengthen Family Laws: Constitute a high-level committee to review and bring necessary amendments to protect the institution of marriage. Define and regulate live-in relationships in line with Indian cultural ethos through appropriate legislation or Constitutional amendment if required. 2. Regulate Social Media: Bring strict laws to control harmful content, fake influencers, and apps that promote illegal relationships and substance abuse. Make social media platforms accountable for content targeting youth.

Respected Prime Minister, On the occasion of Independence Day, I would like to suggest a stronger focus on employment generation, skill development, and support for small businesses. Creating more job opportunities for youth, expanding vocational training programs, and encouraging entrepreneurship can help build a stronger and self-reliant India. I also request greater emphasis on quality education, affordable healthcare, women's safety, digital literacy, and environmental protection. These areas are essential for achieving the vision of a developed and inclusive New India. Together, with active participation from citizens and effective governance, India can continue to progress towards prosperity, innovation, and social harmony. Jai Hind!

      3. Strict Control on Drugs, Liquor and Cigarettes: - Ban all drug peddling near schools, colleges and hostels. Stringent punishment under NDPS Act. - Increase age limit and licensing norms for sale of liquor and cigarettes. - Ban direct and indirect advertising of liquor, cigarettes and vaping products on TV, OTT and Social Media. - Launch a nationwide anti-drug and anti-addiction mission in schools and colleges with mandatory counseling. 4. Rebuild Family Values: Introduce "Family and Moral Education" as part of school and college curriculum. Promote campaigns to restore respect for parents, marriage and Indian traditions. 5. Women Safety and Legal Reforms: Fast-track courts for honor killings and crimes against women. Ensure laws are not misused and protect both men and women in relationships. Respected Prime Minister, I would love it if your Independence Day speech gives hope to every Indian, especially the youth. Many young people are working hard to build a better future, but they are also worried about finding good jobs. I hope you speak about creating more employment opportunities, supporting skill development, and encouraging industries and startups so that every hardworking young person gets a fair chance to succeed. It would also be meaningful if you talked about improving education, protecting the environment, respecting women, and inspiring citizens to work with honesty and unity. Your words can motivate people to believe that every small effort towards the nation matters. I hope your speech reminds us that together we can build a stronger, more developed, and more compassionate India. Jai Hind!

"Viksit Bharat Sankalp" by committing to at least one meaningful action for the nation each year—whether through environmental conservation, community service, education, innovation, or social harmony. Such a collective pledge will strengthen national unity and accelerate India's progress towards becoming a developed, inclusive, sustainable, and globally respected nation by 2047.

A renewed appeal for Fit India and Healthy India can motivate citizens to adopt regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, yoga, mental wellness, and preventive healthcare. Promoting healthy lifestyles will contribute to a stronger and more productive nation. The address may also recognize the dedication of farmers, soldiers, healthcare workers, teachers, sanitation workers, scientists, and disaster response personnel, whose service strengthens the nation every day. Sharing inspiring stories of ordinary citizens making extraordinary contributions will reinforce the message that every individual can make a difference.

Another important focus could be women-led development, highlighting the achievements of women entrepreneurs, Self-Help Groups, scientists, teachers, sportspersons, and frontline workers who are contributing to India's progress. Encouraging greater participation of women in leadership and innovation will strengthen inclusive development. The Prime Minister may also call for a nationwide movement on environmental sustainability, encouraging rainwater harvesting, restoration of rivers and lakes, plastic-free communities, waste segregation, renewable energy adoption, and protection of biodiversity. Community-led environmental initiatives can be showcased as models for the nation.

The speech may place special emphasis on youth empowerment, encouraging students and young professionals to develop skills in artificial intelligence, robotics, clean energy, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and agriculture. Recognizing young innovators and startups can inspire confidence and create employment opportunities.
