Many individuals are also required to install specific apps on their personal devices to gain access or perform work functions. However, owning or using a smartphone is a matter of personal choice and liberty. Persons who do not wish to use smartphones should not be denied access to employment, public services, transport, or essential facilities. Further, such apps may collect personal data, creating privacy and security risks. I request that appropriate legal and policy measures be taken to ensure smartphone usage remains optional and that reasonable non-digital alternatives are available to all. Thank You.
