Even after nearly 8 decades of independence, our economy is still called An Agricultural Economy, because even now, more than 60% of our population is dependent on agriculture for income. And our lives are very much depends on it . Such deteriorated and / or adulterated food affects all of us. It leads to poor health and increased medical bills. The farmer’s condition affects us DIRECTLY. Hence, we should step up for ourselves. We should urge the government to take the Agricultural sector and our farmers’ lives seriously. We should ourselves, in the meantime, take immediate steps to help in the upliftment of our farmers. RWAs, Mohalla Groups, Sectors should adopt villages and help them with cold storage / warehousing, proper farming techniques/ machines & equipments and training, and most importantly, getting right prices for their harvest.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी, देश में तेजी से घटते भूजल (Groundwater) स्तर को देखते हुए मैं 'स्मार्ट वॉटर हार्वेस्टिंग रिवॉर्ड्स' कार्यक्रम का सुझाव देना चाहता हूँ। सभी नगर पालिकाओं और स्थानीय निकायों को उन हाउसिंग सोसायटियों, स्कूलों और कमर्शियल इमारतों को सीधे प्रॉपर्टी टैक्स में छूट या वित्तीय प्रोत्साहन देना चाहिए जो अपने यहाँ प्रामाणिक रूप से रेन-वॉटर हार्वेस्टिंग और ग्राउंड-वॉटर रिचार्ज सिस्टम लगाते हैं। पर्यावरण संरक्षण के इस काम को सीधे आर्थिक लाभ से जोड़ने से नागरिक खुद आगे आकर बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लेंगे और शहरों में पानी का संकट काफी हद तक दूर होगा। धन्यवाद।

Respected PM Modiji, I suggest launching a national citizen-led campaign for urban micro-forests using the fast-growing Miyawaki method. Towns and cities are turning into heat islands. By encouraging residential societies, schools, and youth clubs to plant indigenous shrubs and trees in small vacant plots, we can drastically reduce local temperatures, boost urban biodiversity, and improve air quality. A small "Nagpur-style" or "Delhi-style" micro-forest in every neighborhood can become a community pride project. Thank you.

For all road work, let a board be put up containing name of the developer / road size / construction completion date/cost incurred/ expected life/contact number and mail id of Govt dept for complaints in case public find any deficiency in road work during its expected life and a note that it is your contribution that made it happen. This will bring transparency and ownership amongst developer/engineers/public and people will be more vigilant.
