My Views and Suggestions for the 138th Episode of Mann Ki Baat Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, I am a college student, and I would like to share a few thoughts about something that is very close to me and many other young people in India — the life, education, and future of today's youth.India has a very large young population, and I believe that young people can play a huge role in taking our country forward. But at the same time, being a student today is not always easy. We have more opportunities than ever before, but we also have more competition, more choices, and sometimes more pressure. One thing I would really like to see discussed in Mann Ki Baat is the pressure students face regarding their studies and careers. From a young age, many students are made to believe that getting good marks and entering a particular college or profession is the only definition of success. Of course, education and good academic performance are important, but I feel that mar

India's future depends not only on academically qualified students but also on citizens who understand the law, respect constitutional values, follow traffic rules, use technology responsibly, protect women and children, maintain healthy lifestyles, and respond confidently during emergencies. Introducing "Law & Public Safety Education", supported by a Government AI-Based Legal Awareness Platform, will transform education from examination-oriented learning into life-oriented learning. It will create informed, disciplined, responsible, healthy, digitally aware, and safety-conscious citizens. This educational reform is a National Character Building Mission that will strengthen public safety, reduce preventable accidents and cybercrime, empower women and children, improve public health, enhance legal literacy, and contribute towards Viksit Bharat 2047. "Knowledge creates educated citizens. Legal awareness creates responsible citizens. Safety education protect lives and safe India

Respected sir Cleanliness and corruption are the 2 areas where India needs to work on if we want to be a vikasit Bharat. No rules are being followed like maintaining dustbins by shopkeepers and keeping their premises clean. No one comes to check and so no fine is imposed. There is more garbage outside on the roads than at home ,then what is the use of garbage collection from houses. Indias potential as a tourist spot is lost because of dirt everywhere. Cleanliness keeps Indians healthy. There is garbage mafia Corruption in Maharashtra, karnataka is increasing at an alarming rate, so privatization and punishment for erring people is a must Common man will lose faith in the Government if corruption and health of people is not given importance Kindly look into the matter and do the needful Thanking you

TO HELP THE POOR The government should increase minimum wages and ban contract labour. Ceasing subsidies and providing employment opportunities will encourage people to work rather than relying on subsidies. Currently, labour charges constitute approximately 3-5% of total expenses in corporate balance sheets in India, and our minimum wage rates are among the lowest globally. Increasing daily minimum wages can improve the standard of living for labourers without significantly impacting corporate profits. Afterall, we are a mixed economy and not a capitalist economy. This positive change can have a cascading effect on our economy, leading to increased income, demand, manufacturing, and overall development. It's a proven and successful scheme in developed nations like Europe.

BE GOOD NETIZENS We teach manners, ethics, do's and don'ts from class one to class five, but these lessons are often forgotten later in life. I propose that we incorporate the teaching of rights, duties, manners, responsibilities, driving ethics, and the effects of rash driving from 8th class to 12th class regularly. Improving the standard of education and ensuring free education up to the 12th class can help eliminate discrimination. Furthermore, guiding people towards small and educated families, promoting family planning and education, is essential. BE HEALTHY Public transport and clean footpaths can save an enormous amount of money, foreign exchange, and oil while reducing pollution. This will make people healthier and fitter, as they engage in more walking, protecting them from pollution-related diseases.
