1. Every Indian embassy should have updated website with complete information and downloadable forms 2. Proper token system inside the Embassy or pre-bookable appointment system for servicing applications, depending on the country 3. Emergency services attended within hours. Remember the poor lady from Chennai who got stranded in Muscat airport and died there when she lost her passport and no embassy official helped her for days 4.One Tamil speaking officer at every embassy is must needed

Outsourcing of passport services at missions abroad was probably a good idea; but its implemented poorly. There is very little accountability on part of the contractor and no transparency into the fees charged. In the past, the consulate itself charged processing fees as directed by the Ministry... however, now contractors charge a fee on top which is nothing but looting the citizenry for services that the government should provide for without fee.

I have excellent experience of working with the NYCG office staff and CG as well. They all are very helpful and supportive of our NRI needs. The things we need to improve is keeping strict discipline with everything. Chalta hai attitude should be stop. Also the security at the CGNY should be more strict. There are numbers of people walks in and out of the mission. Many are illegal in the US and have there direct access to the C=mission is dangerous. All personnel should have Id. all the time.

b) Accessibility to the Consulate - I have seen both New York and Washington DC consulates. Both are situated in places which are difficult reach via public transport and there is no parking available nearby. Kindly relocate these consulates (all of them) to places that are easily accessible. c) Abolition of some services - I have been repeatedly asked by Indian banks and government organizations to get my signature verified by Indian embassy. Please abolish such things.

Dear PM, First I would like to say thank you to Indian consulate in Washington DC. I have been there for passport renewal and several other services and I have found people to be helping and prompt. I would like see following improvements a) Complete information availability on Website with easy to find information architecture. I have seen several people traveling from far, and unable to get their work done because of incomplete documentation which they didn't know because of poor website.

Please rethink the policy of IVFRT(new visa services) roll out when visa on arrival or e-visa is becoming a reality and the direction our visas should also take. It will be so much easier to collect the digital biometric at the point of entry rather than 100s of locations scattered all over the world, and that too being collected by private agencies if the visa services are outsourced.

A) Make information about traveling in India easily available. B) The most important thing that needs to change is the website. Information should easily accessible for basic things as passport renewal. Its extremely hard and confusing right now. The content is all spread out and the links are broken. C) A few years ago I had applied for a jumbo passport. I was given a regular passport with a reason that jumbo passports were not available. I expected the additional money to be returned.

The Indian Embassies should provide service to deal with Landlord and Tenant issues within India. Any concerning issues with the country which might benefit the NRIs. Any Registration issues which you do not get proper feedback from India should be addressed in the Embassies.

Lastly I'll fax my posts to you as a reminder. Believe me lots of changes in CBSE PATTERN will bring very high reputation to CBSE and make it dominate IGCSE. Physics for XII bio students should ne noncalculus physics and it should include bio physics partialyy. Experts can refer to physics book by Herman to catch my views on improvement. I repeat IPC sections of certain criminal & traffic laws should be compulsary for all from this session. Lets hope PMO will undestand my views.REGARDS .

Dear PMO. The popularity of IGCSE board in class X is increasing very rapudly over CBSE. Our CBSE can be made better than that. I expect HRD ministry can take urgent action to launch Ćbse international from 2015 with similar syllabus IN SCIENCE MATHS & ECONOMICS & English. I'll like to meet the honourable minister Mdm Smriti Irani in this regard. I'll wait for appointment. The task is MARATHON but possible in short time frame under the guidance of IIT prof and probably Prof Yashpal as well.
