The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Make in India and Make Indians to make by Indian corporates in R & D are the key sector to explore. May be the fund invested may not get return. Substantial reserve money from surplus must be put in to. The scientists are there and are in waiting list with Phd readily to innovate at par with western and american countries. Please proportionately invest to promote Indian scientists to regularly be announced at Sweden for Noble prize. especially in Physics , Chemistry, bio technology.

The R&D infrastructre for medical as told in AIIMS by PM, requires much attention. As the corporate circle always look on profit motive and the scientiest with patriotic thoughts are blocked by them as the adequate remuneration not being paid or not willing to pay. better to copy cat than to glorify for innovation is their mantra. From Agri sector to aviation sector , the fund crunch and reluctance to invest in R&D make the potential scientists either to migrate or doing irrelevance job

I would like to address surface transport ministry to notice the fact that, citizen of India should follow a standard procedure. (1) size of License Number must be defined. (2) should not be any artistic pattern. (3) The no. plate belongs to government property. No one should write any designation like Police, Advocate etc./ department or organisation like High Court/ Sachivalaya/ Ministry/ PHQ etc. It gives negative signal to other citizen, as the rest of the people are not a respected citizen
