The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

The implementation of Adhar card is really painful atleast from the citizens perspective. Why don't the govt. is thinking on generating the Adhar number for those having a valid PAN number and passport and who are submitting their taxes timely. For getting adhar card we have to go and stand in queues for hours or have to pay bribes to the respective authority which is really a painful task.

We should arrange training program from affiliated institutes (ISM, IITs and Environmental Science Department) on basic foundation training on safety , security and quality. The attendee should get benefit in terms of certification and future career prospects. We should be awarded a cash prize of best trainee to generate motivation towards program for subsequent followers of this training session. These training session should be linked with KRA and career growth on national level.

Trial and error methods being used in education field for forming policies is a major issue. There has to be a uniform policy for education. The processes in Universities are not governed properly and students suffer on many fronts including administration and teaching. Things have to improve in education field to lift our skill levels

we are a manufacturing company exporting critical piping all over the word through OEM's. Lately we have been facing the problem that many oversees buyers have started putting restriction for not buying anything from India and China and since we are discussing a project with Siemens for their Malaysia project and we are now told that sourcing form India is not permissible and hence this request if it can be taken with Malaysian authorities to allow our customer to buy from India.

We have to make companies to provide compulsory training for 2 years to fresh graduates. This we need to force in software companies. so that students coming from rural areas also will benefit.
