Branding for hand-loom is not there, If govt creates a brand and under that buys from small and medium scale enterprises at a fixed rate , a certain fixed quantity per month . They can also create exclusive showrooms initially own and under franchise . only the brand can be maintained by the govt but supply chain and other logistics, and retail can be given to private players.

Handloom sector especially lacking marketing in India. I hope all the govt orders irrespective of the state or Central - should take initiative in supporting Handloom workers in the form of orders. Most of the people buy from them for a reasonable cost and triple the price and sale in big show rooms. Actual and total benefit should reach to them only. Govt to start stores and sell the products of Handloom and Govt can take service charges and remaining amount should belong to Handlom workers
