word 'Yoga' is derived from the Sanskrit word Yuj', meaning 'to join' or 'to yoke' or 'to unite'. As per Yogic scriptures the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, leading to perfect harmony between the mind and body thereby keeping one in perfect health condition.

Here are the measures you need to take to keep the virus at bay:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain at least three feet distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then dispose of the tissue safely.
Clean and disinfect frequently-touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Wearing a mask

So much of western medicine is focused on the treatment of disease. While western medicine struggles to catch up to the ancient wisdom of preventive care, Ayurvedic medicine has for thousands of years offered practitioners the means to maintain health and stave off disease.
By attuning our diets and lifestyles to our unique constitutions, we maintain the balance within ourselves that maintains good health. The best way to combat disease is to stay well in the first place.

In terms of physical health, what does balance mean to you? What kind of balance would you like to see in your life?
When a body works in balance, it radiates throughout the body. As Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar says, “Health is not the mere absence of disease. It is the dynamic expression of life.” Ayurveda, by promoting balance, makes this kind of expression possible.

Shatavari is the best Ayurvedic root to rejuvenate women (as Ashwagandha is for men). Shatavari even translates to ‘she who possesses a thousand husbands!’ In other parlance, it also refers to hundreds of tubers collectively seen in its roots. It nourishes and cleanses the blood and the female reproductive organs.
