A voice enabled & sms enabled inquiry system to be simply triggered by the Train Number, starting point & destination...should be set up, along with train reservation status updation in real time. Customer should be able to get his train schedule, availability of reservation as per the class of his choice, check the status of his reservation all personalized through a unique code on registration. A frequent traveler unique code can also be generated for repeat visits & ease of use.
We should have a sms facility from which if we type and send the name of source and destination of journy and we should get all the details in our mobile including name and no. of trains,seat availability,current availability of seats,cost of seats,arrival and departure time etc
I want to say , the train enquiry system
139 help us a lot ,because there is no intermediate person .where there is a railway employee, the information not given properly .in most of the time i saw employes time passed there.

Passengers should be given the choice of opting for a wake up call. This should be linked with a real time train running system and passenger should get a pre-recorded call on his chosen mobile that should precede arrival by the gap chosen by himself. This will make travel more peaceful for passenger & will also prevent disturbance to fellow passengers from those who get up in anticipation of their destination to discover that it is delayed. I will be another alarm if not with real time running
I believe a dedicated website should be made available on real time basis. Further the updates must be much more frequently on the running of the train. the trains timings are always different from the updates of the website indianrailways.gov.in. it is never right. it should be managed more professionally. the telephonic information is just as bad, needs more professional approach.
Degree engineers get 10promotion or 10grade pay while diploma engrs get one. It is unjustified. This irregularities
In railwa,any,class-3 supervisor who have more than 100 staff under his control must be transfered from3to 5years. Otherwise he crush his under staff badly.
There should be more General coached for poor people.Since 30-35% poor just get max 10-15% of coach in whole train.plz change this.
all Railways platform should be equipped with Wi Fi,cyber cafe,Good Primary Medical Facilities and purified water plant.
IN ALL TRAINS,GENERAL COACH AS WELL AS SLEEPER COACH SHOULD ALSO BE INCREASED.
