Rail Ticket Reservation system needs to be improved so that a common man can easily get ticket whenever he or she want to travel. Presently we can't get ticket because lots of seats are already reserved against various quota. Also there are lots of corruption in ticketing system. I hope our new Rail Minister will make effort to improve the situation.

Even though a lot has to be done, Indian Railways are progressing. However, I do not blame Railways for the untidy coaches or platforms. I blame people. I lived in Dubai for 2 years. I was surprised to see that the same Indians who don't mind littering Indian trains are scared even to throw a paper inside a train or on the platform. It is the mindset of the people which has to change. Even if Railways bring world class facilities people will still make them dirty.

Medical Facilities in Train It has been observed the other day, one passenger lost his life for want of some immediate medical attention. It has been occuring frequently while travelling long distance trains too. I have been thinking about a possible solution, as even if we can save one life the effort and cost is worth risking. As every long distance train has a dedicated Pantry car, why not we have half of one coach dedicated as Ambulance with dedicated Doctor for emergencies.

Respected Sir, I have one suggestion regarding indiscriminate use of paper. Today we say "save paper save trees". In railway we use sms as our ticket, but I am sad to say that huge wastage of paper is done in our government offices. Govt employees boastfully say " kaam kam but kakaj zyada hona chahiye" they are more interested in paper work instead of actual work.In this age of modernization where everything is digitalised , why ask for so many papers when soft copy can do the work.

The Train safety and passenger facilities at station / within train should be top most priority

trains running on different speeds ; otherwise we may adopt similar speed with fixed gap which will produce optimize the train punctuality Trains shall stops before or after metro cities which will pay our country in saving fuel ; as at present many passengers reaches at same places viz. new delhi from NCR
