If there is a high wait listed tickets in any train we can accommodate a premium train to which a passenger can transfer his wait listed ticket to get confirm reservation if he wish till 1 day before the train starts with no extra charges. If there is any other reservations done apart from the transfer that will be charged as per the current premium charges. This will serve the needy people as well as save their money and give profit to railway..

We have already reduced the booking period to 2 month with high cancellation changes which means there will be mostly no cancellation. Apart from that we have this tatkal which is just to make money. So I suggest to remove this tatkal scheme all together and increase few more seats in Current reservation (which will actually serve the needy) and put the rest to normal booking. I wish to bring it to your concern that the reservation system has become too much tedious now a days and railway is looked after as if a profit making sector instead of service sector. The Indian Railways we have been looking forward as if a service sector which is meant for people of India to travel through the length and breadth of India. But after introducing Tatkal and premium tickets it became just a commercial sector. To be continued in next post due to space limit..

plase start bulet train from nanded(M.S) to mumbai because nanded to mumbai daily no of passenger is travaling. now to go mumbai from nanded 10 hr. required this time should be reduced due to bulet train.

Please discontinue 3-tier Economy category in all trains, specially in Duronto trains. Space is too less for passenger to sit/sleep/move. It is also safety hazard since too many people occupy one bogie with hardly any space for movement. There is very little space for luggage left.

Cooking should be totally banned in train, even for catering contractors. Facilities similar to those in airplane should be made available as far as storing of food is concerned.

Give On Train advt. This generates good income... Many people travel to other cities fo 1 or 2 days for official visit or for interviews.. Provide them every facility like dormitory, Bus Connectivity, and all.. These are there. But inter connect all of them like, Ask Transport dept to arrange more buses during the time a rush train arrives. Shopping for the famous items of city in the rail station.So that those passenger who wait in railway station for interchange trains will buy something
