I travelled in Jan Shatabdi Express recently from Bengaluru to Hubli after 2 years gap. I found train was better cleaned and hygiene. Thanks to our PM's Swachha Bharat. Still lot more to be done in terms of better quality compartment and television and wifi

Senior Citizens, Pregnant Ladies & Ladies with kids below 3 years must be allotted Lower Berths in Reserved classes while online ticket booking. But I being a Sr citizen aged 70 years seldom get a Lower Berth in 2AC when I book online. When I board the train invariably I find youngsters occupying lower berths allotted. There's some fault/error in Online booking or some malpractice takes place. Request authorities to rectify this anomaly.

Its a very wrong decision by increasing the times limit of advance reservation it will increase agent involvement and blacking of tickets.

INTRODUCE DIFFERENT TYPE OF IRCTC PREPAID CARD (GOLD/PLATINUM ETC.)OF DIFFERENT VALUE & DIFFERENT CLASS (LIKE GOLD CARD FOR SECOND CLASS & PLATINUM CARD FOR AC CLASS RESERVATION ETC.) RAILWAY CAN RESERVE THE QUOTA FOR PREPAID CARD HOLDER. ALSO OFFER DISCOUNT TO PREPAID CARD HOLDER. IT WILL CREAT VERY BIG CORPOUS. THIS FUND MAY UTILISE FOR INFRASTRUCTURE OF RAILWAY. & BEST SERVICES CAN PROVIDE TO PREPAID CARD HOLDER.

The extension of advance booking time from 2 to 4 months will increase agent involvement. It is a tough task to plan a journey 4 months in advance. It may be a good decision for transporter to earn money by advance booking and increasing cancellation of tickets .But the travellers will be the sufferers. So plz revert the earlier policy of advance booking by 2 months in advance.

The recent event of allowing on handicap quota online was a welcome move.unfortunately, there is no clarity as to how the handicap certificates needed for the booking tickets online should be procured, how they different from the earlier ones. There is no clear information available over websites except announcements of the facility. Even railway officers or railway enquiry contacted could not give any definitive answer. Will it not be a good idea to provide such details.

Advertisements can be put on ticketing website, in ticketing app and in train bogeys. Extra money / cash for railways. Note: Delhi Metro is already doing it. :)

Please privatise the #RAILWAY #STATION by fixing some basic norms and policies. By this 1 ~ Govt is making money 2~ customer satisfaction Heard about privatising of the same long time back but guess it will take another generation to put this in place . Government should understand that more than 40% of people in india use railways and improvisation of the same will create physical example for its citizen and citizens will be imprrssed and in turn re elect them without any second thought
